The family of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is asking for prayers heading into the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs.

The Chiefs, who went 15-2 in the regular season, are not playing this weekend. Kansas City has a bye into the divisional round.

Andy Reid’s team, coming off back-to-back Super Bowl wins, will be hosting the lowest remaining seed in a Divisional Round game at Arrowhead Stadium next weekend. But heading into this weekend, Patrick Mahomes’ mom, Randi Mahomes, asked her followers on X, formerly known as Twitter, for prayers.

The Chiefs, who finished the year with a blowout loss to the Broncos, are looking to win three straight Super Bowls, becoming the first team in modern NFL history to do so. Kansas City is one of the favorites to win it all, along with Detroit.
